A bit more about Blush.


Hi, I’m Vanessa; founder and Creative Director of Blush Wedding Photography!


BWP was born as a creative, all-authentic extension of a coveted fashion and product photography career and for the past 8+ years we have translated our detailed commercial eye for our 'love' industry focus, with the relationships we make and feedback provided continuing to excite and all-consume us.


We love working to the unique aspects of every wedding and thrive on the narratives that define visual storytelling across a mix of cultures and dynamics;  getting down in the details, playfully interacting with your guests and capturing you in your absolute best to tell a comprehensive story.


We’ll move and shake with the day, share some laughs, gently prompt the timings of the run sheet as needed, position you in favourable lighting and provide clear compositional guidance as necessary, but otherwise immerse ourselves in capturing all the good feels, connections, energy and spirit of your special day no matter how much or little you like to play up for the camera.


Our editing style is elegant, and film inspired. We take great pride in delivering beautiful colour grading and gallery curation befitting your styling and palette; matching this aesthetic across both our photo and film mediums for a dynamic and cohesive heirloom product.


We lean on honesty and confidence in our work, passionate for warm and soulful photos that are stylish, candid and playful.


Our studio is in Stirling in the adelaide hills. I would LOVE to have a chat and talk through different ideas, give you some insight into how long to expect for things to take on the day and what your run sheet could look like!

Our crew has grown a little since inception in 2016 beyond myself, my husband and assistants, into a small hand-picked and equally enthusiastic group of photographers and videographers who I creatively direct.

Our values define our entire crew; fun and engaging, yet empathetic. All experienced in reading the room and always thinking two steps ahead.
